Common questions

What's the difference between Live Scan and ink fingerprint cards?

Live Scan captures your fingerprints digitally and transmits them electronically to FDLE and/or the FBI — fast, low-rejection, and required by most Florida agencies. Ink (FD-258) cards are physical cards needed for out-of-state submissions, concealed-weapons permits, and agencies that only accept hard cards. We do both.

What do I need to bring?

A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, passport, or permanent resident card) — plus any card or instructions your requesting agency gave you.
